That was a lot of fun. I thought when I started that there wouldn't be enough time, but there was. I was surprised at how many I got just by looking at the first three letters.

I went right down the line in the first column but I got to "OBL" and completely forgot what I was doing.
Nov 8th, 2010 at 17:39 GMT
That was a great quiz with the perfect amount of time allotted.

Love the "You-Know-Who" addition, that was clever :) And it's fun for die-hard Potter fans to see how many you can get just by looking at the first column. Great quiz!
Nov 8th, 2010 at 17:47 GMT
Just a suggestion: Could you change the title to to include "9 letter word"?
Nov 8th, 2010 at 18:17 GMT
Nice quiz- you could have even included "Hogsmeade."
Nov 8th, 2010 at 18:35 GMT
Thanks all! And thank you to the powers-that-be for publishing this!

I got more than half of these just by looking at the first 3 letters and then I spend the next 7 minutes piecing together the rest. I like a quiz that is both easy and challengin at the same time. Nicely done.

Cool addition: "Knockturn"?
Nov 8th, 2010 at 20:22 GMT
=( I could have got 2 more of these! DAMN I knew one was that stupid curse! ¬¬
Nov 8th, 2010 at 20:31 GMT

@lukebradford Wow, that was a great quiz. A great collection of words and perfectly timed and challenging!
Nov 8th, 2010 at 21:54 GMT
I got 22 of them just by looking at the first set. Stupid "HER" kept throwing me off because I kept wanting to type Hermione.

I think "Lesbology" should not only count as a bonus but be taught in real schools for the sheer power of the word. I wasn't wrong, the system was. Otherwise great quiz.
Nov 8th, 2010 at 23:34 GMT
Oh wow! I completely forgot halfway through that it wasn't just the first column but all three combined!
Nov 8th, 2010 at 23:37 GMT
Great quiz, perfect timing. Thanks!

Great quiz ! So proud that I got all of them, and I LOVE the You-Know-Who thrown in there.
Nov 8th, 2010 at 23:54 GMT
I love the one that begins with SME, it's so obscure, only someone who's read all tho books multiple times could get it. or i guess someone with a really good memory.

"You Know Who" hahaha classic!
Nov 10th, 2010 at 02:14 GMT
This was surprisingly touch considering I've been obsessing over everything HP for the past two weeks in preparation for the movie. Alas, 63 correct isn't too horrible :-P

@BadRobott- Newt Scamander is the author of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them"
Nov 10th, 2010 at 11:33 GMT
JujBres: And a little known fact, according to interviews done after the release of The Deathly Hallows, J.K. Rowling said that Newt Scamander's grandson actually married Luna Lovegood.
