Pakistan doesn't border Tajikistan... but Uzbekistan does! Shouldn't be a difficult change.

Whoops! Thanks for spotting that.

Sporcle standard is to not count man-made borders, so therefore, Saudi Arabia doesn't border Bahrain.

FreakyFlyBry is right about Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, but wouldn't "united ARAb emIrates and saAudi aRAbIa" work? Then the pattern could even be lengthened to: "A, RA, I, A". Resulting in: "united ARAb emIrAtes and saAudi aRAbIA".

@FreakyFlyBry - Thanks for pointing that out. @tahitiwahini - I left that one out because the longest possible would be "U, D, ARAB, I, A," and I avoided full words in either country's name (hence no O, TH, KOREA or REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO.)

I was kind of disappointed that O, TH KOREA didn't make it ... that would've been a fun one.

You probably want to fix your description -- it says "capital and country".

Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan also qualify for the "U, AN" clue so that's not an unique answer.

@micah and Claudi0 - Thanks, fixed. @psubball1 - Thanks for the pick!

Shouldn't Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates work for the A, R, I, A one? Otherwise, great quiz! 5/5

According to a globe I'm looking at right now Pakistan borders Tajikistan

@PASSWORD1: It's hard to tell on a globe, but Pakistan does not border Tajikistan. A thin sliver of Afghanistan's territory is between the two.

C,A,R,N should be removed or accept alternative: CentrAl afRicaN republic also shares a border with the demoCrAtic Republic of the coNgo

How about REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO?

This was a fun one, I got all but the Qatar-Saudi Arabia pairing. @Nishtar: the combination on the list is C,A,R,A, which would not overlap the CAR and the DRC, but I agree that C,A,R,N would be an interesting challenge.

Why do I always forget Iran and Iraq exist? Wishful thinking, maybe?
