This deserves five globes for the 'spade work' to compile it.

The final clue (---H-...) has an extra dash at the end.

That 'H' must be the only thing those countries have in common. Great quiz!

Why not replace the first dash in Ch_ _ _ with an I?

@MisterF: I thought the same thing. Also, the ..C...... clue can add an A at the end, .Z........ can add A N, and the .....B.... can put an M before the B.

Apart from A-------A, Argentina and Australia share many other common features. They are both countries in the southern hemisphere, with a large territorial extension and a relatively small population. They would be still more similar if one of them had a lower inflation rate and a less corrupt government. Guess which of both:)

Shouldn't the clues show ALL common letters? For example, the correct clue for Guinea/Guyana should be GU _ _ _ A, for Chile/China should be CHI _ _, for France/Greece should be _R_ _CE, etc.

I agree both that this is a great quiz, and that @ShortyNj is correct; include all common letters. It is hard enough even with that extra bit of help. But, again, great job.

Personally, I liked it as is (with the amount of letters given) but that being the case, I'd like if the 2 countries could be listed as separate answers... This way I don't have to remember one of them while trying to think of the other

PS - Not sure how I missed all these comments... I would have corrected the extra dash, etc. had I seen them. Sporcle powers, might you consider dropping the extra dash in the last clue, and perhaps adding 'I' to China, Chile and 'R' to France, Greece?

Great quiz. Very thought provoking. Agree that it's frustrating to know one and get no credit if you can't come up with the other but hey, that's what makes it such a good challenge.
