You have to take Monegasque without the accent.

I believe Monacan is an accepted demonym for Monaco, though Monegasque is more colorful.

To the best of my knowledge and research, Vatican City does not have an "Official Religion".

@All - Queen Elizabeth II and several variations added - sorry about that. Monacan is also an accepted alternative. And I've removed the official religion from Vatican City - intriguing stuff! Every citizen is Roman Catholic, but the state has no official religion.

Residents of the Marshall Island's are missing a bit of a trick. They could almost be legitimate 'Martians'!

I'm not convinced by Liechtenstein's independence from the German Confederation, since the German Confederation wasn't exactly a country but more a loose association of nations. Thus the 1806 treaty of Pressburg would suggest that Liechtenstein gained independence from the Holy Roman Empire during its dissolution.

@RGJ - Valid point. I've changed the answer and made German Confederation an alternative.

Schaan is an administrative district in Liechtenstein, with Vaduz being the largest city.

Eriedearie: I was inclined to agree with you and then went to look it up. In the source data from the Liechtenstein Amt für Statistik (http://www.llv.li/pdf-llv-as-population_fliz2012) they put it like this: "Schaan forms Liechtenstein's largest community with around 5800 inhabitants. Around 5200 people live in the capital, Vaduz." While I agree some people live outside the city (well, town) of Schaan, that is also the case for Vaduz (it has exclaves).

I really liked this, so I don't want to sound too critical, but this would have been loads better (1) with less than 10 minutes (by then, you've either got all the answers or given up) and (2) with the "answer in order" option - there's too many answers that are correct in multiple questions - uk, dollar, italy etc.

answering "rome" for san marino's independence should not give you "holy roman empire" for liechtenstein's independence. The holy roman empire had nothing to do with the roman empire or even the city of rome
