	I had hoped for some trick inclusions of mainland countries. The closest I could find, however, was Chiloé Island in Chile. (Tierra del Fuego is shared with Argentina, making Chiloé the largest unshared island)

	Ach, I got 15 because I was one letter away from typing the last one! Hate it when that happens - it's a sign of a well-timed quiz though. :p Good quiz! I wonder if the quiz name couldn't be a little clearer, it sounds like countries which only have one island as part of their territory. Maybe something like Country/Island Same Name? Not as catchy though.

	I tried Antigua and Barbuda (doubting that it would work, as the name of the country includes two islands and not one). However, St. Kitts and Nevis is exactly the same case (also two islands) and it's a bonus answer. Probably A. and B. could also be included as a bonus. Excellent quiz.

	I'm going to have to call shenanigans on Australia being a bonus answer. In Sporcle quizzes, the continent seems to always be Oceania, with Australia being the largest country, and even if it was the name of the continent, it is also the name of a country, and that country is named after the largest island is possesses. Other than that, it's an awesome quiz, but I really feel like Australia should just be a straight-up answer instead of a bonus.

	@caramba - I edited the note slightly to make Cyprus a clearer case. @Ardens and reepicheep - My thinking is that even if Australia is not the name of the continent, the landmass of Australia is a continental landmass rather than an island. This view is supported by, for example, "List of islands by area" on Wikipedia. I will change the wording of the bonus slightly so this makes more sense.

	Rather than have to write the sovereignty rule so carefully, could you just include Ireland as a full answer and get rid of the rule altogether? Is there anything else you'd have to include?

	Cyprus is still an issue, even if you're citing the de jure sovereignty of the Republic of Cyprus over Northern Cyprus, Britain still controls and has sovereignty over Akrotiri and Dhekelia

	Excellent quiz! I thought The Comoros, after Grande Comore, might be an answer. But it seems the island was renamed from Ngazidja by French colonialists, so is named after the island group it's in. I love Sporcle for teaching me things.

	@backer - Good idea. Done. Now this includes any country that possesses at least part of the island it shares a name with. @TJL - This also solves the Cyprus issue.

	@LacsiraxAriscal and @MickeyPearly - There is a good-sized Island of Mozambique (with 14,000 people on it!) off the coast of Mozambique, which I think is probably what you're referring to. Interesting stuff. But there are larger islands in Mozambique for sure, such as Bazaruto Island. @MickeyPearly, I would in fact have counted a country that's mostly mainland if it happened to share its name with the biggest island, which is what @cuendillar was hoping for in the first comment above.

	What is a 'common name' though really? I tried great britain as the largest island in the 'United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland', which contains England, Scotland and Wales is actually called Great Britain. What would be the common name be for GB? UK, Great Britain, Britain, etc are used just as commonly as each other...

	^Emmatramp: Sporcle always uses some standard short names. For the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and...", it's always "UK/United Kingdom", so that wouldn't include Great Britain. For me, this quiz is very correct.
