Don't Moldova and Romania have white on the badges as well? Anyway, thanks for the bonus answers.

Officially, Belgium's flag is Black-Yellow-Red, no gold. Gold is a term that can be used if you name the colors following Tincture(heraldry) but in that case you'd need to give all colors goofy names :p Anyways, Belgium's official website states the colors of the flag are black, yellow, red. http://www.belgium.be/en/about_belgium/country/belgium_in_nutshell/symbols/flags/index.jsp

Isn't Armenia officially and/or geographically in Europe? No white on their flag, either.

@ ferebend: Armenia is south of the Caucasus, so it's Asia. The fact that it was part of the Soviet Union meant some people used to consider it Europe, but nowadays it's pretty much always considered Asia. Georgia and Azerbaijan cross the Caucasus, so are partly in Europe, and especially Georgia has more ties to Europe and is to some degree culturally closer, so there's more debate there. However, if Turkey joins the EU (very likely in the next few years) the political boundaries of Europe will have expanded into Asia, so this question will be even more complicated!

@ joebobs, it is very UNlikely that Turkey will join the EU in the next few years. France, the Netherlands, Greece and especially CYPRUS will never give their permission..

Actually there is no white on Andorra's emblem (and the word is 'coat-of-arms', not 'crest'). Not the official version anyway. So Andorra should be included.
