Sure, I can take it down by a few minutes, but I never like to rush players.
@dracomalfoy; the question asks for a "mortal" enemy. Death obviously does not fit that description.
As for Dumbledore being Voldemort's mortal enemy, I don't believe that he would be considered Voldemort's mortal enemy, as in my mind, mortal enemies are ones that are able to finish/kill the person, someone who constantly thwarts their plans, someone who constantly gets away, one who Voldemort is constantly trying to kill. To me, the only person who fits the bill of a mortal enemy to Voldemort is Harry.
They say that Dumbledore was the only man he ever feared. But, I believe, in the end, Voldemort was fearful of Harry, of what Harry knew, of what Dumbledore had told him, of what would happen when he tried to curse him for the third, and then for the fourth and final time. He had been trying to kill Harry Potter for the entire series.
I truly believe Harry is the only answer to that question.
(Plus Dumbledore has his own question where it does state that he was said to be the only man Voldemort ever feared.) |
