Heh, number 5 looks like number 11
Oct 30th, 2011 at 12:13 GMT
I would argue that number 14 isn't married to the main character; her son is the main character in the series.
Oct 30th, 2011 at 13:53 GMT
Same with number 10. And 11 is part of an ensemble; if anyone was the "main character" I'd say it's her dad.
Oct 30th, 2011 at 23:12 GMT
You left off the N on Sue Ellen.
Oct 31st, 2011 at 00:03 GMT
Waaaaay more people need to start watching number 2
Oct 31st, 2011 at 20:54 GMT
Didn't realize there were so many Phil Dunphy and/or Red Foreman partisans lurking in the wings.

thought i did pretty well, only missed the number 2 cos i've never seen an episode

The mom from ALF has apparently been completely wiped from my memory
Mar 13th, 2012 at 04:14 GMT
You have the mom from Malcolm in the Middle as being from Glee...

That's definitely not Terri Schuester.
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 18:13 GMT
OK. Thought I was going nuts that that one was Jane Kaczmarek...
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 18:15 GMT
Yep, Jane Kaczmarek-Malcolm in the Middle.
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 18:17 GMT
That was driving me crazy! I kept typing MITM over and over hoping I was spelling something wrong. Definitely not Terri from Glee.

By the comments on here I'd say it's been a mistake for a while now. Curious that it got past the admins. Wonder how many besides myself reported it.
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 18:21 GMT
Why did you only put the character names on some of them? Wouldn't it have been better for the name of the husband to be revealed as well?
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 18:21 GMT
CCGuy, don't go so ape sh*t over a mistake. It happens and it's a quiz, not life or death. Other users have already pointed it out, albeit in a much nicer tone.
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 18:22 GMT
It got past the admins being perfect, but they changed 4 of my original pics and put in wrong names apparently....

Congrats on your first published quiz llgrmm! One of many fun quizzes in your 'arsenal.'

Thanks so much, gloucester!

Did anybody else not have Mad Men counted?
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 18:41 GMT
Doesn't anyone remember that Glee/Malcolm in the Middle crossover episode? We've fixed the issue, apologies for any frustration.
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 18:49 GMT
For Dexter, you might want to include No Ordinary Family, as that actress also played the wife in that series.
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 19:01 GMT
It's Sue Ellen, not Sue Elle.
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 19:14 GMT
Breaking Bad is the least guessed; what a sad world...
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 19:21 GMT
Phylicia Rashad was also the wife of the main character on "Cosby", which is different from "The Cosby Show".
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 19:26 GMT
Patricia Heaton is the mom in "The Middle" also.
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 19:27 GMT
you need to accept LOST for julie bowen (sorry if i spelled it wrong) because she plays the wife of Jack in that too
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 19:32 GMT
I would argue that the description of the quiz should be changed from wives of main characters to wives of characters since 4 of the wives aren't married to the main characters (at least not during the course of their series). Hell, one of the four isn't even married for the first 2/3rds of the series she's on.
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 20:18 GMT
@drn211, I agree. Probably less than 1/2 of these wives are actually married to the MAIN characters.
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 20:26 GMT
The main character of six feet under is Ruth Fisher's son, not her husband.
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 20:37 GMT
I'm not familiar enough with Dallas, Dynasty or Modern Family to know, but among the other 17 shows, by my count, 6 of the women pictured are the mothers rather than the wives of the main character(s) (Brady Bunch, Family Ties, That 70s Show, Malcolm in the Middle, Arrested Development & Six Feet Under). And Helen Hunt is a co-main character in Mad About You. I mean, nobody could possibly argue that Red is the main character of That 70s Show. It's a fine quiz, but replace "the main" with "other" and then the question will accurately describe what the quiz is asking.

I'm saddened at how few people are apparently watching Breaking Bad.
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 21:38 GMT
@Kurtomatic 19% of us are saddened by that...
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 22:02 GMT
Best drama: Breaking Bad. Best Comedy: Curb. Both in the bottom 4. This saddens me greatly.
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 22:38 GMT
Where did you get that picture of Julie Benz (Rita from Dexter)? I stared at that for probably 3 minutes and even now it doesn't look like her to me.
Apr 3rd, 2012 at 23:13 GMT
Great quiz.... but there are a few that could be different answers that are still correct. Some have been mentioned about and one is Anna Gunn from Breaking Bad, also played the wife of a main character in Deadwood ( another great show that ended too soon )
