| Forgive my continuation of the religious debate, but theists have equal right to say what they please, as do atheists. Exercising that right, may I point out that a few theists are hypocrites. The majority of religious people prefer to shun such a thing as irreligious and shameful. 'Tis certainly a pity that some use religion as a safeguard against criticism while they hurl it in every direction. Atheists are sometimes smug about their beliefs (or lack thereof) and talk down to believers. I prefer that we all settle for some form of theism, since atheism allows followers to do whatever they please (not that atheists as people have no morals, just no moral laws). And on calling Christians bigots due to their view on homosexuality - the Holy Bible clearly calls it an abomination unto God. The Bible is Christian law, therefore, Christians follow Biblical philosophy. Believers don't call it bigotry, they call it God's Law. |
