It would be funny to use the other E/R (that George Clooney also starred in) and give everyone two answers for the price of one.

Wow! I can usually get at least half on these TV show quizzes, but couldn't on this one! I feel stupid for forgetting C2, but major props for including D4!

I loved #4 when I was growing up. I have friends who named their kids Gage after one of the main characters. Great show.

Great quiz, but could've been expanded to more shows despite the awkward letter. Most of the suggestions in the archived comments (Empty Nest, Extras) plus The Equalizer, Enterprise, etc. could've at least tacked one onto the end of each row. Still, I love that Sporcle is publishing all of these alphabetical film/tv quizzes for all of the simple fun and nostalgia that they provide.

@jefe and thirdheaven I was thinking the same thing, hard to believe that 80% of the people got Ed from what it was and not by accident.

I think 23% who got the one featuring a young Morgan Freeman in the picture (yep, he was there) tells you what percentage of quiztakers were watching PBS in the 70s. (I feel so old now.)

Too US-centric. Could have had Eastenders or Emmerdale, 2 of the three most popular British TV shows.

@Happ_Hazzard - "US-centric...could have..." Why just British? Why not Australian, French, etc.? Why don't you make a quiz that's globally centric if you want instead of constantly complaining? I also don't make quizzes, but I appreciate all of the time that people put into them. I scored a 5 on this, but still had fun.

I must be about the same age as adjamemnon. I have no idea what "Even Stevens" or "Everwood" are, but got all the rest. Dig the old Morgan Freeman photo.

I loved the quiz...but you should probably accept Essence of Emeril. I just kept thinking that I was spelling essence wrong and finally got frustrated and just put Emeril. I'm pretty sure there's no show that's just called "Emeril". Just my two cents.

Love The Electric Company. Thanks for including it. And yes, I got Ed by typing Ed Sullivan Show. There's no way I would have gotten it otherwise.

Electric Company was one my favorite show as a kid. I'm excited to hear that it's been resurrected. Maybe my daughter will watch in a couple of years.

@Heyward: Even Stevens is an old Disney Channel show that starred Shia LaBoeuf and Everwood is a drama that aired on the WB Network prior to its merger with UPN to form the CW Network and starred Treat Williams.

I guess counting the number of people in the picture could give you a clue, but having a picture representing Eight is Enough with out Dick van Patten is a little obtuse. Every other picture included the main and most famous actor in the series except that one.

I'm old enough to have watched Electric Company, and I did recognize Morgan Freeman, but only because the Golden Globes tribute to him showed a clip of his Electric Company days.

I feel like I'm the only one who actually got Ed without trying Ed Sullivan first. I think it is a good idea to switch one of them.

This is a very narrow list of shows...more diversity would be great. I also hate it when these quizzes include reality or non-scripted shows.

I typed Ed Sullivan first and didn't get credit for Ed, which I only got because I always confuse it with the movie EdTV.. On another note, if you type Ed enough times it looks really weird.
