Othere films mention the main character in the title, but I wanted films where the title was just the main character's name, first AND last (so not "Iris", "Bobby", "JFK", etc.).

Thanks for putting Danny Kaye on a quiz! Suggestions: 1996 - Robin Wright (Penn) & 2003 - Heath Ledger

Great suggestions -- thanks! Especially for the 2003 Heath Ledger film -- I'd never heard of it, but the cast is amazing. I'll have to check it out!

Is it ironic that I didn't get '1995 - Keanu Reeves'?

I've tried really hard to repress the thought of ever having seen Johnny Mnemonic, and it was going so well. Damn you Sporcle.

Fun Fact: Edward is never called "Scissorhands" except in the movie's title.

I somehow got Julia Roberts as Mary Reilly, but completely forgot about her as Erin Brockovich. I also missed Rocky Balboa, but managed to get Myra Breckinbridge. Yeah, my results were normal.

@bryanhickman: Meanwhile, I typed in "Happy Gilmore" and it gave me "Billy Madison." I'm happy to get credit, but I'm not sure these should count, since the release dates are different.

it's "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" which means it doesn't really fit with the rest of these

@MetaphysicalMan: Technically, Depp's character wasn't named Donnie Brasco; it was just an alias. His name was Joseph Pistone.

Another suggestion would be "August Rush." Albeit, crappy movie, but that's the title character's de facto name throughout the film.

I agree that Robin Hood shouldn't count. It really should be Dances with Wolves. That was a much better movie, and it was the name of his character.

Ow, that was a difficult and painful quiz. I missed 11 movie titles and still in the 96th percentile. Very clever though and I neve mind a stiff challenge.

I typed in "Rob Roy" and got credit for "Michael Collins". It helped my score, :) but since the clue says 1996, I was wrong and shouldn't have had it count as right. I also got "Dances with Wolves" when apparently the correct answer (the eponymous character Kevin Costner played in 1991) was Robin Hood. If dates are going to be used, films that don't correspond to those dates shouldn't work as answers.

Johnny English??? You really chose that over Bean??? And you put Eddie Scissorhands and Ed Wood for Johnny Depp, but no Donnie Brasco??? They're so many more actors/movies that would work for this type of quiz, you're gonna have to make a lot more of these

have you ever seen dances with wolves? if not go watch it then come back here lol and obviously peanut4 this quiz is for movies with both names. Rambo was never the actual name of any of the Rambo movies anyway.

I kept trying Victor/Victoria for the Julie Andrews clue and getting upset because she's my favorite. When the answer came up, I was so embarrassed that I ran away and joined a convent.
