I would think that more vacationers would visit Edinburgh than Glasgow. But I guess the business travelers make the difference. Glasgow!? Really? One word of advice - you need to make it clear that you want towns/cities and not countries!

@Fidelio: There is nothing in the source that suggests that these are the most popular destinations. It is their own top 10 which they came up with themselevs. There is no scientific basis for their choices. @littlejonesy: Good job on execution - maybe you can find a source which can back up this top 10 with some data. This website just seems to have picked them based on their on preferences are marketing strategies.

@gowhere: you have to becareful when choosing a source, as you may know, as you cannot tell what is official or not, and this looked like the most official off the ones i looked at, but i will continue looking for another, thank you.
