The title needs to be like the others. 'Opening Day Lineups: Marlins' instead of Florida Marlins Opening Day Lineups.

When Mark Hendrickson is your Opening Day starter, you know you're in for a looooong season.

I completely forgot about the D-Train. Shows how irrelevant he's been the past couple years.

Mike Piazza didn't last long enough with the Marlins to make an opening day.

@marlins311, so are you that one fan who sits in right field?

As bad as the Marlins have been over the course of their history, they are still undefeated in the postseason and they've managed to win two championships. Conversely, the Dolphins have one of the best records in NFL history (.579 with 22 playoff appearances), but they haven't won a championship since 1973. It brings up an interesting question of whether you would prefer your team to be competitive every year without necessarily winning a championship or have a team that is perennially bad but wins an occasional championship.

@Bijan, the marlins arent undefeated in the postseason, they just have won the world series those 2 years they've been in the post season. I love the marlins and i look foward to 2012, when itll actually be nice to actually go to a baseball stadium as opposed to playing in a football stadium.

@zlb33: You're right I worded it incorrectly. What I meant to say is that they have never lost a postseason series. They have a 6-0 record for series appearances and a 22-11 record for overall postseason games. I just always found that to be impressive because the Marlins are not a particularly great team outside of those two championships. They are certainly something of an anomaly in the world of sports.

I remember every few days seeing an ESPN highlight ending with "His name is... DAN UGGLA!" Good times.
