| Not exactly XiscoKid9. First: Cyprus is geographically looking in Asia, but it is often considered European because of historical and cultural reasons. Also, it's not that close to Greece, it's just south of Turkey, which is very much in Asia (look at a map). Also, Ireland is in it's full name just Ireland. Not republic of. But as Mad_Hatter said, almost every country in Europe has "of" in its long name, so many should be omitted by this logic, however, not Ireland, which is just Ireland. |
