You should say this is American History focused or make it less so.

It's just "Common Sense" there's no "the"

You know they are not all really 'documents', right? I mean, there's no piece of paper in the national archives called "The Louisiana Purchase" or "The Monroe Doctrine". Still a good quiz.

@TreehuggnCowgirl and 12lehmae: Fixed, thank you.
@MatttD: Thanks, and yes I know they aren't really 'documents', but I needed a few more answers, so I added them. If you have any more real documents that I missed let me know. Thanks again.

@leppyfresh, the Magna Carta is more European history than American history. You could also use The Alien and Sedition Acts and the Missouri Compromise.

@LTH: Thanks for the suggestions, they have been added. Also, thanks for the Editor's Pick.

@raynard-with that logic so would every other major piece of legislation. im not sure what type of statement you're trying to make. if youre trying to start a political argument take it somewhere else-sporcles not the place

Maybe make it a bit more international with things like the 95 Theses, the Edict of Nantes, the Geneva Conventions, the Tennis Court Oath, etc? I usually hate it when people call out quizzes for being America-centric but I don't see any reason why you couldn't broaden its scope.

Magna Carta's kind of sticking out like a sore thumb...but interesting nonetheless. And I do see the problem with adding international things because then you get into a language issue, but a couple of English offerings might be nice.

How is this an Editor Pick? I mean, informationally it's a good quiz, but this definitely only partly deals with historical "documents", as people have pointed out. I mean, the Star-Spangled Banner? The Monroe Doctrine?

The Magna Carta is highly relevant to American history, as is the British Bill of Rights that came out of the Glorious Revolution. The ideas that came out of Britian helped shape the founders' plan for American government.

How about the Communist Manifesto, Mein Kampf, Treaty of Versailles, or the Warren Commission. It seems like it would be pretty easy to satisfy people's wants for a more international quiz (although I realize the last one is American) and one that features actual documents.
