If these are current Premiership teams then Hull, Portsmouth and Burnley were all relegated last season. If it's 'all time' then you are missing some.

@leppyfresh: The timing was fine. I think itwas just my lack of knowledge that made it hard. But come on, easy quizzes are no fun! :)

Good quiz. The Premier League quiz you've used is from last season. All the newly promoted clubs have As so you could just remove Portsmouth, Hull and Burnley.

Horse & Rider technically has an A (and), as & is a symbol, not a letter.

Since everyone is being all technical with Clinton, how about John (Calvin) Coolidge for a bonus since it's first and last names?

Be good if you could accept boot as an alternative for shoe, for us Brits. And why accept Liverpool but not Bolton, West Brom or fulham? If it's because Bolton has an 'a' in Wanderers then you can't really include Liverpool or Everton, as Football Club (FC) also has also an 'a' in it...

you really should accept 'Norwich' rather than just 'Norwich City'. I would have got it then.

not to nitpick, as I realize it is known traditionally as Penn...but I'm pretty sure there are a couple of A's in Pennsylvania

Oh, I see the asterisk now. John, 1 John, 2 John, and 3 John are four separate books, though. Just as Toy Story 1, 2, and 3 are separate movies.

Is this quiz going to be updated every time relgation/promotion changes the answer to the premiership question? Because you could just specify 2011-2012 Premier League Clubs and then not have to worry about it.

'Norwich' and 'Stoke' are the more common names people typically say. By the same token, it feel should probably accept Bolton as a bonus at least, even thought the official name is Bolton Wanderers.

I am probably nitpicking, but the full name of the United Kingdom is, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and that has several A's in it.

For the Bible books, I kept thinking: CorinthiANS, GalatiANS, ColossiANS, PhilippiANS, ThessaloniANS, where else did Paul write? Hebrews. Facepalm.

I don't see why toy story 2 and 3 had to be listed separately while john 1, 2, 3 didn't. I sat there thinking for a long time on pixar movies then realized there's NO asterisk there.

Qaqaq - the noble gases are listed in the order they appear in the periodic table. The Pixar movies are listed chronologically and the planets are listed in terms of their distance from the sun.

If you're going to accept Norwich Canaries, you may as well accept the Bolton Wanderers...
