	If Brazil borders 10, that means you're counting French Guiana, which is not a country, but an overseas department of France. This would be fine, if you also counted Suriname and Brazil for France (and then you'd have to include The Netherlands on account of Saint Martin). So if Brazil borders 10 countries, France borders 11. If France only borders 8, Brazil only borders 9.

	There needs to be a consistency in the acceptable answer for Democratic Republic of the Congo. Or Democratic Republic of Congo. Or Dem Rep Congo. While "[a] foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds' (Emerson rocks), it is also helpful sometimes.

	kthejoker, I was sure you were correct about Saudi Arabia, and I was about to fire off a similar comment! On further inspection, though, it looks like Bahrain is an island group, rather than part of the Arabian peninsular mainland. Always learning from my Sporcling ~ :-)

	Great quiz, but where is Serbia? (Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina)

	10/11. Missed Zambia. Hey Dirtykash, I'm not sure about the least borders one. I think there may be too many with just one country bordering them (Canada, Portugal, Norway, Papua New Guinea, South Korea, Equatorial Guinea, Haiti, Dominican Republic...)

	Norway actually has land borders with 3 countries. Equatorial Guinea has land borders with two.

	Take a look at a map again. Whether you count Kosovo as an independent nation or not, Serbia would never border 9 countries. If you look closer, you will see that Serbia does not border Albania unless you include Kosovo as part of its territory. So, Serbia can either border Kosovo or Albania, but not both. In both cases, the number is 8.

	@Vernon: By my count there are 17 countries with only one neighbor (and has been mentioned, Norway and Equatorial Guinea are not among them).

	Awesome quiz. Sadly only got 9 here - missed Turkey (?!?) and Zambia, which I wouldn't guess anyway. Demrepcongo worked for DRC here.

	WOW, great discussions here. A couple things, as noted Saudi Arabia has only 7 land borders, Bahrain is an island with a bridge to Saudi so doesn't count for this quiz; we changed the count for Brazil, added the alternate answers for DRC and just added Serbia. Serbia was an oversight on our part, many apologies. Thanks all!

	@JBC. I think they count the Poland/Kaliningrad Oblast border. That makes Poland the 14th country.

	@JBC: Russia borders with Poland and Lithuania (through Kaliningrad), as well as Finland, Norway, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China and North Korea. I counted 12 several times on a map, but thank you Wikipedia for Kaliningrad. :P I only got 7 blushes. The best quizzes are like this: difficult but guessable.

	@DirtyKash: Least land borders would be the same thing as `island nations', since there are so many countries that don't border any others. (Nearly everything in the Caribbean and Oceania, for example, plus various island nations off Africa and Asia.)
