| I couldn't find this anywhere on the site, but if it does exist elsewhere, let me know. Also, any suggestions are welcome - first quizzes are difficult to make! =) |

| I hope the people who missed 'Muppet' and 'Show' just walked away from the keyboard or something.... |

| "This is the best Sporcle quiz I've ever played!"
"But you haven't even clicked the start button yet."
"That's what makes it so good!"
"OOOH HOHOHO HOHOHOHOHO HOHO!" |

| This must be the only name the lyrics quiz where 'and' is 4th from bottom! |
 | starjumper: | Jun 3rd, 2011 at 16:06 GMT | | 5 points |
| @RJMurphy: and what's weird is that Muppetational is higher guessed than AND. |
 | moviegoer74: | Jun 3rd, 2011 at 16:22 GMT | | 2 points |
| Damn... I tried Muppetsational. I need to work on my madeup words. I also missed "And." |

| Not the same format, but this quiz has been published, and is 2 years old. http://www.sporcle.com/games/text/muppettheme |

| Absolutely one of the greatest single shows in television history .... something for the kids, something for the adults. Even the most jaded person could be entertained by this show. |
 | Phonglehorn: | Jun 17th, 2011 at 19:28 GMT | | 6 points |
| Did you know the first season's theme was slightly different? Instead of Statler and Waldorf's bit, Kermit sang "To introduce our guest star/That's what I'm hear to do/So it really makes me happy/To introduce to you... Miss Sandy Duncan!" or whoever the guest star was that week. |

| It's not easy being green with envy at those who outscored me. |

| This is the only lyrics quiz in the world where an entirely made-up 13-letter word is gotten right less than 1% less than the word "and". |

| "Now it's time for my favorite part of the quiz."
"What part is that?"
"The end! DOHOHOHOHO!"
Seriously, though. Fun times. |

| What about Kermit's part: "to introduce our guest star, that's what I'm here to do, it really gives me please to introduce to you..." |
 | JoeMurphy: | Jun 30th, 2011 at 00:02 GMT | | 4 points |
| Agree with ctoan and Phonglehorn (archived comment) - Kermit's alternate bridge at least ought to be a bonus answer. But thank you for a fun quiz which made me smile! |

| This is the Season Five version of the theme, not Season One. |

| Gah, if only I'd know the word Muppetational! |
 | cmkeller: | Jun 30th, 2011 at 14:06 GMT | | -1 points |
| Maybe it was only an alternate, but I could have sworn that Statler/Waldorf's response to "Why do we always come here?" was "I do not really know." Am I totally mis-remembering? |

| it's been a while since i heard the theme song, so i didn't quite get everything, still was fun though |
 | featherfish81: | Aug 8th, 2011 at 03:31 GMT | | 1 point |
| Took a little while to remember the tune, and I completely blanked on the bridge, but still really fun. Though now I'll have the song in my head for a week. |

| Thanks for the memories. This was such a brilliant show ...it's difficult to do something like this that kids will enjoy but also appeals to adults on a different level. It was also a great teaching tool, exposing children to a wealth or arts and culture, but the kids had no idea they were learning. Jim Henson was a genius ...too bad he had to leave us so soon. |

| This isn't season one. I just watched all of season one. Kermit sings the middle about introducing the guest star. |
 | mrdannydoodah: | Feb 8th, 2013 at 01:13 GMT | | 1 point |
| @Pronglehorn don't forget Kermit's prolonged and flappy limbed 'Yayyyyyyyyy!' after the guest's name! I do a pretty good Kermit impression, but those yay's can be quite painful! |
