| @Catcher3M - This IS about military control... just not the way you're thinking about it. These guys are considered leaders of their countries during WWII because they were the heads of government and they made important decisions about the military. The reason Tojo is also accepted is that Japan's military essentially took control of the country and the emperor, though the de jure ruler of the empire, had little control over what Tojo or the military wanted to do. FDR, Hitler, etc. did have the final say over their military commanders. That is why Eisenhower and Rommel are not on here while Tojo is. |
