| There is a lot of discrepancy with official team names and years, depending on the source. I've looked at the Baseball Almanac as well as wikipedia. Sometimes, Wikipedia even contradicts itself, depending if you type in a team name as opposed to a list of seasons by that same team name. However, the yes/no answers to this quiz are not affected. Some discrepancies are as follows: Indians = Blues, and Lake Shores & Rustlers teams were minor league teams; Twins = officially Nationals in 1905, as it appeared on their jerseys for 2 years & as Senators around 1955, with it being on jerseys in 1959; Tigers were part of the Western League before the MLB; Phillies AKA Bluejays from 43-48, but not official; Pirates = Pittsburg Alleghenies 1882-1890; Cubs AKA Remnants from 1898-1901 & may have been Orphans only to 1901; Cardinals = Brown Stockings only in 1882, then Browns from 1883-98?; Giants = Gothams only until 1894?; Dodgers = Robins, Superbas, Bridegrooms/Grooms, Grays & Atlantics--all unofficial?
