Before I get yelled at about forcing the user to go in order, I wanted to because a few of the responses would have automatically given answers to other abbreviated teams.

I don't know if you changed it, but it's not in order for me. It's random. I can deal with order, but random seems unnecessary.

Also, I live in Milwaukee and I have never heard the Bucks referred to as Deer or The Deer or whatever.

The Hornets are called the "bugs" way more than the Wasps or Bees. Also no one has ever called the Raptors the "Rappies."

good quiz. The Giants could also be the jints. i didn't realize the Thrashers had enough of a following to warrant a nickname.

Milwaukee...I've heard the phrase "Fear the Deer" when referring to the bucks. Jason...I will add "bugs" thank you. But I live near Canada and the local radio stations there refer to them as the "Rappies". Karmacode...I will add Buccos, thank you. Jaehak...hilarious comment about the Thrashers...my thoughts exactly. I will also add Jints (also maybe Gints?). hyeh81...do you watch sports at all?

Malonetd....what I mean was that I forced the game play to allow only one answer at a time...I wanted it to be random, but not in the format where you type an answer that is an answer for more than one question, and then by default you get them all correct. Sorry for the confusion.

What you are looking for is "Raps" or perhaps from the old days "Dinos". I have never heard about the Rappies in my life - and I live in T.O.

I live in Toronto and I'm a former Raptors season ticket holder, and I have never, ever heard the term "Rappies" in my life. It's "Raps", or as @yaremchuk said, sometimes the "Dinos".

Thanks for the comments. I will be sure to add them. About the Raptors....I vaguely recall hearing "Dinos" at one point, but I didn't want to put it, as I only heard it a few times. Maybe it's the particular radio station that I oftentimes hear "Rappies". It's out of the Toronto area.

You should accept "Wahoos" for the Indians. This is a common nickname, referencing Chief Wahoo, the mascot.

as a boston resident the celtics are way more often called the c's or the green than the celts. also the bruins are almost always called the b's or (rarely) the bears, so they could be on there

I agree with LOKVENC - you should accept "C's" for the Celtics and add the Bruins with "B's". I almost never say the full names of those teams (or "Celts", for that matter, although I have heard that nickname, so that's not wrong - but "C's" is very commonly heard as well)

Ravens, Eagles, Cardinals, Seahawks, Thrashers, Orioles, Cardinals, Hawks... If it's a bird, "birds" is the word.

Not your fault, but if so many teams weren't called the birds, it would be a halfway decent game.
