| There's a bunch that are technically in the City of L.A. but none are given Los Angeles as a location name. There are none in downtown L.A., South L.A., Mid-Wilshire, or most other places that don't have other names that appear on their address. The ones in West L.A. or Westwood would have Los Angeles as their address, but they give them more specific names so that people would know where to find them.
Almost everything in the San Fernando Valley is in the City of L.A., but the post office only accepts the local neighborhood as the address: Van Nuys, Panorama City, Woodland Hills, etc. If In-n-Out called the one in Canoga Park a "Los Angeles" location it wouldn't be very helpful for people trying to find it. |
