| Inception was not a good movie. The characters were not likable, especially because we were told nothing about them, save for Cobb's dead wife angle (cliche!) and the movie tries way too hard to be "deep" by introducing a new set of rules every time they go a dream deeper, e.g., "Well, if you die on this level, you don't wake up, you go to Limbo." Where did that come from? Plus, the main objective was a bit trivial to me. I mean, corporate espionage? Who gives a s***? Watch eXistenZ instead. It's the same idea but an hour shorter. |
