| Yeah you might want to point out this is the "traditional sporcle list of countries" rather than using the term sovereign. Or you could easily just not use places that claim to be sovereign as the wrong answers. Bermuda, Tasmania, and Aruba for example clearly aren't sovereign and don't claim to be and therefore perfect wrong answers. South Ossetia on the other hand is a de facto sovereign state; nobody else is in physical control of it, its independence just isn't recognized by anyone but Russia. I would also avoid the minefield that is Palestinian claims of sovereignty. |
