	Irish Gaelic isn't the only Gaelic language. There's also Scottish Gaelic and Manx Gaelic, so it's better to abbreviate it as "Irish" rather than "Gaelic".

Also, I find it worth mentioning that Bangkok's official ceremonial name is Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahintharayutthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Phiman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit... You can see why it's shortened.

	You can get most of these by guessing which English capital name they sound like. Putting all of them in the alphabet of that language would make it a bit trickier!

	Some of these don't seem to be different names in the native language, rather your source is using different transliteration systems of the native pronunciation, sometimes more accurate and modern, but still any transliteration system is somewhat arbitrary and can only come close to the native pronunciation. Taipei, Djibouti, Vientiane, Naypyidaw, and Abu Dhabi are examples.

	The full name of Bangkok in Thailand is really, really scary. "Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Yuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Phiman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit". I think I read that this was the longest city name anywhere in the world.

	What bart122333 was less than delicately pointing out is that Bruxelles/Brussel is kind of a sore spot for the Flemish, whose capital is Brussels, but 90% of its population speaks French. (And while the Flemish are required to learn French, the Walloons aren't required to learn Dutch.) Long story short, you might want to pick a less inflammatory example.
