	Singular of Allies is Ally, not Allie. Japan was an Ally in WWI. Italy should be added, as it was an Ally in WWI, Axis in WWII (switching sides part way); interestingly, so did Romania. Bulgaria was Central Power in WWI, Axis in WWII. Hungary was a Central Power in WWI (as part of Austria-Hungary), Axis in WWII.

	Germany: WWII is in there twice, and it's a mischaracterization to call pre-WWII USSR Axis (or Russia, even). You only have one central power... I don't see the point.

	Japan in WWI was part of the allies, as they helped take out the German ports in the Pacific. And adhair was right about the USSR axis thing.

	By WWII "Russia" was known as the Soviet Union or USSR. Also, the USSR signed a nonaggression pact with Hitler, not an alliance. Therefore the USSR was not an Axis. You are correct in identifying them as an Ally as the end of the war.

	The USSR was never an axis power in WWII at any point in history, the Nazi-Soviet Pact merely maintained Soviet neutrality until the outbreak of Operation Barbarossa. Also as a participant in both world wars Italy should be included

	It really should be 'Ottoman Empire' not 'Turkey.' Also, specify for Japan which world war: in the first they were on the Allies and in the second, the Axis. Germany-WWII is in there twice with no 'Germany-WWI' Italy for both world wars should be added, although its a bit confusing for them because they always switched sides. The USSR wasn't Axis at the beginning of WWII, they just had a non-aggression pact with Germany, not any military alliances.
