If these errors are corrected (and more words added) it would be an excellent quiz. Thanks to etymologies, I got krino (to judge, like in critic) and pipto (I fall, like in symptom, literally 'coincidence' or falling together). I would have gotten lambano (from astrolabe, 'to take [the height of] stars') if just "I take" were accepted. But I don't know (please clarify) if these words are from ancient Greek, or modern, or both. |
