| Guacamole is not a fruit, either—it's a dip or a sauce. I guess avocados are technically a fruit, but then so are tomatoes and olives, botanically at least, but you properly list tomatoes and olives as vegetables because that's how they are used in cooking. (Please don't change those to "fruit.") Listing guacamole as a fruit because it is made from avocados is like listing salsa as a fruit because it is made from tomatoes and peppers. |
