	One of the better generic name-every-developed-country-you-can quizzes. Very good idea. For its population and level of development, China's literary output is pathetic compared to Lebanon's, for example. That's what censorship will do for you.

	China is still 10 times India, so I don't suppose censorship has much to do with it. Russia is better known for shooting journalists than press freedom, but still does pretty well. I'm surprised that Egypt, as the intellectual centre of the Arab/Muslim world wasn't higher; that's pretty damning.

	According to the source, the figure for Afghanistan dates from 1990. In fact most of the data are pretty ancient - I suspect that if there were recent data the chart would look quite different.
