Sorry about having to answer alphabetically for ties. I cannot think of a way to allow the entering of alternative answers in this format where the 3rd column info works and where it would not accept duplicate answers for all ties.

That's correct, gqb, of course. I have fixed my header to read "Voted for:", since Ford did RUN for "re-election" in 1976, and Nevada, et al., voted for him in a losing effort.

I'm confused about the "voted for" column, because many of these states did not vote for those stated candidates---Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee and Montana voted for McCain in '08; Illinois voted for Democrats in '00 and '04; New Mexico went to Gore in '00. There may be other errors from older elections as well

Thank you SThornton25 and gpq. I made the wrong "fix". The column should be "Did not vote for" and Ford has been replaced by Carter. Nevada, Montana, Illinois and New Mexico all voted for Ford in 1976.
