	Initials are not first names - these people did have actual names; and Julius Robert Oppenheimer was not the only physicist of that last name, so you should accept Frank as well.

	It seems reasonable to accept initials for B. F. Skinner and so on, since as I understand it, that was what those scientists used in their full names; but it would be good to add a note saying so in the introduction. Great quiz!

	p.s. would also be good to accept and display the properly accented form René (Descartes); also to show it in the clue for Lévi-Strauss; & also to accept the Russian ones in Cyrillic: Дмитрий/Дми́трий for Mendeleev, Иван/Ива́н for Pavlov.

	@above Yes, I agree initials shouldn't count as I got really frustrated typing in their real first names and not having them show up. Also, you cannot have Leonard da Vinci on here, as da Vinci is not his last name. That is just the name of the town he was born in. You also have to be careful because Bohr has a son who was also a Nobel Prize winning physicist, and the entire Huygens family was involved in the natural sciences. Also, for Franklin you have to be careful because Rosalind Franklin is a pretty damned impressive scientist, too.

	If you type in Julius for Oppenheimer, it is correct. Also, it accepts Burrhus Frederic for B.F. Skinner, and always has. I will not be accepting Cyrillic, as that is ridiculous.

	It has always accepted Joseph for J.J., as well.

	You might consider requiring these in order--while it's not likely that someone's just going to start typing in names like Alessandro; Richard, Michael, and John are easy to get by mistake.
