	A common word is a word that is not capitalized (Proper Word.) Although some common words are proper words as in a person's name (Pam/Ben, etc)they are also common names of things.

	"Lat" seems to be a pretty obscure word (and I'd say "ben" is pretty obscure too, but maybe it's more common in the UK?). If you're including those, why not also BAHrain, BELgium, CHIle, CHIna, COLombia, KENya, LIBya, LUXembourg, PHIlippines, and REPublic of the Congo?

	Avid Scrabble players also know about "qat", a leaf chewed by people in Yemen, so QATar might arguably deserve to be included (although "qat" is too obscure to be listed in the dictionary I'm looking at right now).

	Bah, bel, chi, col, ken, lux, phi, and qat are words in their own right, not abbreviated forms. Lib is indeed an abbreviated form of "liberation". Rep is usually an abbreviated form (of "representative", "repetition", "reputation", or "repertory"), but it is also a kind of ribbed fabric, and in this sense it is not a shortened form of anything.
