| I do like the format as well, but agree with trogon that the penalty shouldn't start at 101 but should give you a little more leeway. This way an educated guess is not penalized but a random one is. As the format is now, to be really successful, you have to exactly memorize the list of 100 to be completely successful, rather than have a good understanding of what countries are heavily populated. As it is, this is a personal opinion, and as others have suggested, it is an interesting and effective use of the format. I would suggest that the format not be over-used, especially for more obscure data questions. This format would not be good for a quiz asking you to name the world's top 10 flax producers, for example. |
