@thestorm80: Man, I don't think I've ever seen anyone make such poor attempts to justify their own questionable statements. In your very first comment on this quiz, you used words like "guarantee" and "almost unanimoulsy" to claim that Nebraska fans would claim Colorado as a bigger conference rival than Oklahoma. Then in your second comment you said "dude all I said is that I don't AGREE with the survey." That wasn't all you said, you GUARANTEED that Nebraska fans would agree with you, which as this survey showed, was not the case. You then further hurt your argument by making factually incorrect statements claiming that Nebraska and Oklahoma stopped playing each other every year in the 1980s, and that Nebraska started playing Colorado every year at the same time.
No one ever said that you were wrong for thinking of Colorado as Nebraska's biggest rival. Your point in your last comment, that OU barely got the majority, isn't exactly true. According to the article the quiz is based on, Oklahoma got 56.2%, Colorado 23.0%, and Missouri 17.2% of Nebraska fans votes. Sure that is swayed by the last decade of football, when Colorado has been largely noncompetitive in the Big 12 while Missouri has had a surge of football success, but it doesn't make the survey any less valid. |
