	Great quiz. Bit disappointing that Kolmogorov doesn't make it onto Friedman's list. Personally I think he deserves Kuratowski's place. Surprised Dirac doesn't get a mention either.

	Good point with Kolmogorov and Dirac. The only explanation I can offer is that Kuratowski fits Kr better than Kolmogorov. I feel the table is missing lots of key mathematicians, but I may be biased - what about people like Grothendieck, Hermite, Boole, Brouwer, Hadamard, Weyl, Caratheodory, Borel, etc? I still don't like the current Os, Ir, and Am answers (no offense to them intended).

	Do not change Am. His was a very important role; he was teaching algebra in the 9th century! We get the word algebra from one of his treatises. I would not be happy with replacing him unless it was with a Newton, Galois or Gauss-level mathematician. Also, you seem to be inconsistent with "British" versus "Scottish". Newton is labelled "British" while his contemporary Stirling is "Scottish". It's a minor point, but if we take the 1707 Act of Union as the end of Scotland and England as separate entities and the beginning of Britain, then Newton and Taylor are English and Maclaurin is Scottish. If we take the 1603 union of the crowns, then Stirling should be British.

	Great quiz, and I agree about Kolmogorov - was so surprised that his name didn't pop up for 'Kr' that I went to check the source, under the assumption that I'd spelled it wrong. Could you accept 'de Morgan' for Augustus de Morgan?

	Some really random assignations to elements here: it almost makes more sense just to type in mathematicians and hope for the best, ignoring the letters. It seems perverse that (the German) Gauss is Gallium, and (the Frenchman) Galois is Germanium!

	Some mathematicians I tried that didn't work: Bhaskara, Boole, Brahmagupta, Conway, Dirac, Eratosthenes, Frobenius, Fubini, Germain, Green, Hamilton, Kolmogorov, Lebesgue, Littlewood, Lovász, Lucas, Rényi, Stokes, Tao, Tonelli, Wiles. It might be good to clarify Hippocrates as "Hippocrates of Chios"; the more famous Hippocrates was a physician, not a mathematician.
