| Many technical problems with this quiz; you need to see how the side columns look to others (log out if necessary) and decide how you want to arrange them and for what purpose. And the quiz credited me with getting them all, but the "results" only gave me 43, i.e. one shy of 44, without Barack Obama/Illinois. (I think this may have to do with how Grover Cleveland, No. 22 & 24, is counted; 43 men have held 44 Presidencies.) Some of your "elected from" seem odd to me: for example, Calvin Coolidge was governor of Massachusetts before being nominated VP, although he was sworn in in Vermont. Ike was president of Columbia University in New York when nominated for President. So being "elected from" can mean several things. |
