THIS IS FANTASTIC!!!! What an original idea! Thanks for bringing some livelihood back to Sporcle!
Jan 12th, 2010 at 21:55 GMT
Great idea (and AWESOME cupcakes!) but the last column is cut off on my screen.
Jan 12th, 2010 at 22:00 GMT
Massive props for originality. Those cupcakes look delicious.
Jan 12th, 2010 at 22:09 GMT
The most creative sporcle I've ever done. Amazing idea. Love how ou combined simple games, board games, computer games, and video games
Jan 12th, 2010 at 23:06 GMT
Wow did you make 36 different cup cakes? Im surprised at the detail. Very nice... and delicious... mmmmmm.
Jan 12th, 2010 at 23:28 GMT
@teh_DR No, I got permission from the person who made the cupcakes to use her pictures. She made 101 of them!
Jan 12th, 2010 at 23:49 GMT
Fantastic idea for a quiz, and to make things better, the implementation is absolutely flawless. Not only did the UK names work, but I even tried Jan-Ken-Pon as a joke, and that worked too. Exceptional! ... though despite seeing the cupcakes on Kotaku just yesterday, I shamefully failed to get them all.
Jan 13th, 2010 at 02:31 GMT
The only game I've actually wanted to eat. Also, it was really fun!
Jan 13th, 2010 at 02:36 GMT
Scattergories! Absolutely my favorite board game ever.
Jan 13th, 2010 at 03:36 GMT
AWESOME quiz! I want to eat those cupcakes...

WTF is Munchkin? Oh well, 5/5 rating in any case for a fun and creative game.
Jan 13th, 2010 at 06:12 GMT
Props for including Munchkin; its a very fun and simple role-playing game. Most toy stores should carry it.
Jan 13th, 2010 at 06:30 GMT
What a fun quiz with cool images! I might have to try making board game cupcakes for a party sometime! The last column was cut off my screen too, though.
Jan 13th, 2010 at 07:27 GMT
I loved the quiz, but was a bit annoyed with it not accepting Arkanoid for Breakout. Oh, and super mad insane props for munchkin.
Jan 13th, 2010 at 10:06 GMT
They all look so tasty, except for the domino one. It kinda put me off... *heh heh*
Jan 13th, 2010 at 10:38 GMT
Last column cut off here too. Sporcle please fix. I think someone has way too much time on their hands :)
Jan 13th, 2010 at 12:04 GMT
how did you think of this? this should be a party game or something
Jan 13th, 2010 at 12:05 GMT
Jan 13th, 2010 at 12:30 GMT
Nothing more to say than to echo all the comments here. Fantastic, creative quiz!
Jan 13th, 2010 at 13:35 GMT
Way too much time, but great quiz otherwise.
Jan 13th, 2010 at 14:10 GMT
GREAT QUIZ, though Arkanoid could work for 13 and it took me forever to remember what it was that was full of monkeys, was it a box (no) a jar (no) a bed (no) a tree (no) aha....it was a...

Somebody else is a Mental Flosser!!
Jan 13th, 2010 at 15:16 GMT
This is totally amazing!
Jan 13th, 2010 at 16:47 GMT
for 13 you should accept brickbreaker
Jan 13th, 2010 at 17:09 GMT
Two of my favorite things cupcakes and board games. Awesome job.
Jan 13th, 2010 at 17:35 GMT
@bacampbe, do you have a blackberry? playing brickbreaker is all i do in queues, on trains or on ferries. @ the maker of the quiz, you mentioned that the person who made these made 101 of them, is there going to be a sequel? love the quiz!
Jan 13th, 2010 at 17:55 GMT
@fabfivemayca I do read Mental Floss at times, but I got this from Cake Wrecks.
Jan 13th, 2010 at 19:56 GMT
These cupcakes are AMAZING. I want them.
Jan 13th, 2010 at 20:11 GMT
Only in Munchkin can you be wearing Freudian Slippers, a spiked codpiece, a rat on a stick, a vorpal blade, a raincoat, and a chicken on your head all at once.
Jan 13th, 2010 at 21:08 GMT
Just incredibly inventive. There are many more great ones at the provided link--sequel please! (One small fix: there seems to be a floating "6" in the center right portion of the #28 photo.)
Jan 13th, 2010 at 21:25 GMT
If it were "Go", wouldn't the pieces be on the intersections of the lines? Also, isn't the iPod version of 13 called Brick? If so, that, as well as Brickbreaker, the Blackberry version, should both be acceptable.
Jan 13th, 2010 at 22:18 GMT
You should make another one with more of the cupcakes. As I remember, there were 100. Great quiz!
Jan 13th, 2010 at 23:03 GMT
Jan 13th, 2010 at 23:31 GMT
Mmmm. Decorated cupcakes (drools like Homer)
Jan 14th, 2010 at 00:00 GMT
great quiz! I would accept 'Go' for 22 as well though
Comment below threshold:
Jan 14th, 2010 at 00:05 GMT
sweet. but you should accept 'shoots and ladders' for snakes and ladders.
Jan 14th, 2010 at 00:16 GMT
@RAA It's spelled Chutes and it is accepted. @Superb_starling You're right about go having the pieces on the lines. @tomjenkins Go has the pieces on the lines, like Superb_starling said. That game is obviously Othello or Reversi.
Jan 14th, 2010 at 00:38 GMT
This is really cute! I had no idea what Munchkins was, but I still nominated this one.
Jan 14th, 2010 at 00:52 GMT
I want to second @SHWiMM's comment - way too much time right now. But it's an amazing quiz, like everyone else said, and I hope there's a sequel! =)
Jan 14th, 2010 at 01:10 GMT
My two favorite things in the whole world- games and food. These cupcakes were perfect for a Sporcle quiz, and kudos to you for actually taking the initiative to ask the creator for permission to use them. Since you have the permission, I see no reason why Sporcle wouldn't publish this, and it should be easy now for you to make a sequel with the rest of the cupcakes.
