| Funny timing on these last few comments--I just put out the sequel, which is much more classic-director-oriented than this one. I'm more interested in contemporary movies too, and either way, I like the idea of dividing it up, since I'm sure a lot of people care more about one era than the other. As for Nolan, the only reason I left him off is that he hasn't made very many movies. Same with Tarantino, Cuaron, Greengrass, Jonze, Gondry, the Andersons (Wes and P.T.), and a number of other directors I like. |
