	I think Hakeem has a pretty clear case for #2. Better defensive player than Malone, still dominant on offense, and two championships. (Those titles were in a league without Jordan, but no one else on the list won those years.) Also agree that Ewing is more of a bottom-of-the-list guy, and you've got to figure some way to get Gary Payton in there.

	10 is too short a list as there are multiple players you could make a case for to be in that #10 spot ala Payton, Hardaway, Iverson, Kidd, Mullin.

	based on what? The only one I missed was Reggie Miller, but I think it's pretty accurate. I thought Chris Mullin would be on this list, though. I had to think back to playing NBA Jam on Super Nintendo!

	@brokenbahamut: That's not really the point. Also, as others have mentioned, there are so many candidates for this list that it's not that hard to get them all with multiple guesses; I don't think that proves anything.

	You don't deserve to be making any lists on the NBA if you put Reggie Miller ahead of Gary Payton, Clyde Drexler, or Alonzo Mourning in the 90s. You can make a good argument for Mutombo, Kevin Johnson and even Mitch Richmond before Miller.

	Grant Hill? Chris Mullin? and Mitch Richmond? other favorites of mines that wouldn't make this list: Steve Kerr, Dell Curry, Hersey Hawkins! gosh i miss the NBA in the 90s.

	Olajuwon is better than malone at everything but scoring olajuwon is like top 15 in career points steals rebounds and blocks and arguably the best defensive player ever
