Greinke was on the Royals in 09, and Ichiro works for all of his answers except for in 2010, where you need to type in Suzuki. Edit that and you have a great quiz
Apr 8th, 2011 at 00:42 GMT
Greinke was not on the Brewers in 09. Other than that good quiz
Apr 8th, 2011 at 00:45 GMT
all right thanks for the heads up
Apr 8th, 2011 at 13:29 GMT
I don't know why, but I had a much harder time coming up with the leaders in stolen bases versus any of the other categories.
Apr 8th, 2011 at 20:10 GMT
For Ichiro, Suzuki works for all of his answers except the batting average in 2001. Kinda the opposite of what @tommybaseball pointed out
Apr 9th, 2011 at 01:51 GMT
you should use the third column for the teams
Apr 9th, 2011 at 02:58 GMT
Nomar, Thome, Fielder, Lee and Walker all came up when I typed in something else. Not sure whats up with that.
Apr 9th, 2011 at 06:04 GMT
I don't know how 2 make it so if it's a tie both answers show up. They were all tied with the same player once over the years
Apr 9th, 2011 at 14:21 GMT
and im pretty sure thats ichiro
Apr 9th, 2011 at 22:28 GMT
6!!!!!!!!!!! How could I forget you?
Apr 14th, 2011 at 15:56 GMT
Cliff Lee comes up when you type in Webb. Also when Ichiro is typed other names pop up - Walker and Fielder for sure, maybe others. This needs some work.
Apr 14th, 2011 at 22:26 GMT
read the earlier comments they r tied for that year
May 7th, 2011 at 18:10 GMT
fixed the whole tie thing

I liked the idea for the quiz, but the formatting made it almost unplayable. Every time I got an answer correct, columns were resized and questions started to be off the screen. You really needed to use a third column for the teams.
May 14th, 2011 at 17:55 GMT
You couldn't make the team the hint column? Play the with the formatting, right now its as bad as possible.
May 14th, 2011 at 18:49 GMT
I really have have no idea how this is an editor picks. It a great idea but the format is really bad. First off you should make it 4 columns per line. Then you should probably group by stat category instead of year. This will make the columns look nicer, you could even use the teams abbreviations to cut down the column width even more. Again love the idea, just needs some editing.

"Wang" isn't accepted for some reason.
May 16th, 2011 at 01:43 GMT
should i eliminate teams all together?
May 16th, 2011 at 20:21 GMT
"Ming-Wang" his the last name.
May 16th, 2011 at 21:11 GMT
you have a "`" after Saves/Nationals in 2005.
May 17th, 2011 at 21:33 GMT
all right in the process of altering the two things. Gimme some time though am quite busy
May 18th, 2011 at 15:09 GMT
didnt change the entire thing but played with the format. Might have to do some scrolling but will prevent the answer boxes from extending. If i had gone and grouped by stats it wouldve been very time consuming. I am gonna abbreviate teams now though. Enjoy!!!
May 18th, 2011 at 19:34 GMT
I thought this would be a more interesting quiz without the teams--instead of the teams, maybe the list the stat, like the total home runs, or ERA, or number of saves that the player had, etc.
May 18th, 2011 at 23:16 GMT
so r u saying eliminate teams and add numbers?
May 19th, 2011 at 16:14 GMT
2009 was Howard and Fielder, not Pujols...

Scotty Pods was a beast in 2005 on da Sox

"And" gives you a few answers. Can't believe Alfonso Soriano ever led the league in hits with his plate discipline (or lack thereof).
