	I think hints might be in order. A list of someone's opinion, even if it's a relatively respectable source, is incredibly hard to guess. I think I could name 50 inventions in about two minutes that strike me as incredibly important (the microchip? the Archimedean screw? the printing press? Pop-Tarts?), but I have no way of knowing which of them these people had in mind.

	I agree, and thought of that as I created it....but still found it fun to try. There are other things that I, personally, would have on the list as well. It's all in fun :-) Poles are always subjective. Just watch Family Feud!

	Good idea, but I'd try to be more consistent with plurals and singular. I guessed car and battery and train, which did not count, but computer, calculator, and telephone did. Also, refrigerator is spelled wrong.

	Besides relatively unimportant inventions like the fork, freezer, and Google, you should put more abstract inventions such as democracy, language and agriculture.

	Electricity wasn't invented, it was discovered. Need a lot of options for some answers - for instance I typed in "car", "automobile" and "auto" and did not get answer for "cars". Not sure why atom bomb, nuclear fission, polio vaccine and pastuerization aren't on that list.

	I think its interesting how things like the steam engine, railroad, the atomic bomb, gunpowder, radio, the telescope, the astrolabe, the vaccine, the water wheel, and many MANY other very important historic inventions weren't on here, but things like scissors are. Yea, our world would totally not be what it is today without scissors, but the steam engine didn't help fuel the Industrial Revolution or anything. Water is a chemical compound found in nature and IS NOT AN INVENTION. Please post a credible list.

	What is the source anyway?! Seems suspiciously like you're the source because a published source is not likely to have the inconsistent pluralizing etc that this quiz has.
