Good Quiz, but perhaps Jews per capita would be better. A lot of those states have a lot of Jews purely because they are populous (Texas/Georgia)...

Way less time please. Many people could probably enter all 50 states during the current time allotted.

I'm not at all a sensitive person, but the title seems a little harsh for something that's supposed to be educational. Maybe "states with the highest Jewish population" or something probably would have been better...

Yeah, let's get offended by the wording of the title.

2 or 1 minute should be plenty of time to enter 15 state names

I'm afraid "Jew" is in fact the noun form of "Jewish." (Compare to "States with the most Buddhists.") Now, when you use the noun as an adjective, that's over the line.

I am a Jew. I'm pretty sure it's not offensive to call a Jew a Jew any more than it is to call a Catholic a Catholic, an Arab an Arab, or really any other variation on religious/ethnic nouns there is out there. At any rate, I'm not offended.

What about the state of Israel? You should probably specify that this is specifically the United States just for accuracy's sake.

Nailed 'em all, except Arizona. Honestly wouldn't have expected it.

Is calling someone from Mexico a Mexican offensive? Neither is calling a Jewish person a Jew

"Nailed 'em all, except Arizona. Honestly wouldn't have expected it." Retirees. Arizona is the new Florida.

What could possibly wrong with calling someone a Jew, either as an ethnicity or religion?

I was surprised by Arizona; however, Gabrielle Giffords is Jewish, so maybe it's not so surprising.

I think I guessed every state *except* Arizona. I had no idea so much schvitzing was going on there.

looking at the source, colorado has 91,070 jews, which would put it higher than michigan. probably should fix that

Jew as a noun is totally 100% fine. Using it as an adjective (that Jew lawyer) or a verb (that Jew lawyer jewed me out of some money) is what will piss people off.

I'm part Jewish and I find the idea that the word Jew should be considered an insult is actually in itself an insult
