	You are missing Marshall Islands and Solomon Islands. Republic of the Congo should also be included- it is a separate country from Democratic Republic of the Congo. Western Sahara is not a country.

	Well equatorial guinea has 16 letters and antigua and barbuda has 17 letters so they are longer than the bottom 2 on your list.

	Why are you not counting Democratic People's Republic of North Korea but counting Federated States of Micronesia. Both are the official names. Also, why is Republic of the Congo still not on here?

	A bit messy this quiz. If youre accepting the most commonly used names, the UK shouldnt be there. If youre asking for official names, it should be, but Libya should be at the top with this monster: Al-Jamāhīriyyah al-ʿArabiyyah al-Lībiyyah aš-Šaʿbiyyah al-Ištirākiyyah al-ʿUẓmā.... or, Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya in English. Seing as there is already a quiz concerning official country names, i suggest you completely re-make the quiz, but with 'casual' names only.

	@jubeejuba "Okay drstupid that is not a country" You're right, it's two countries, hence the listing with the word 'and' in between them. Both are the official titles of the countries in question. Also for those also listing North Korea, its official name does not carry the word 'North' as included by some above.

	First of all, Equatorial Guinea is in Africa. Most certainly not an island. And "casual" and "crazy island countrie that that most people dont know about!" are two separate things. If you're listing the countries with the 10 longest casual titles, you still have to include ALL countries. Or your list is wrong and your quiz is pointless. You definitely need to include those Caribbean countries with long names and obscure African countries.

	@jubeejuba I think you are under-estimating the knowledge of even the casual sporcle user. Just because you have not heard of Papua New Guinea or Equatorial Guinea doesn't mean that we haven't.

	What defines a casual name? Wouldn't that be just United States instead of United States of America? I mean, if you're not going to shorten USA to a name that is very commonly used to describe it, then United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland should be on this quiz, and certainly Federated States of Micronesia, among others. At the very least, your arbitrary distinction needs to be defined.

	Tip for the next time you want to make a quiz like this: Start with a list of the names of ALL of the countries in the world, and then sort it by length and choose the top 10 (or the top 20 or whatever). It seems that you just looked at a map and found some names that seemed pretty long without actually verifying that they are indeed the longest, because you are missing a lot of countries here.

	Serbia and Montenegro are no longer one country; they split into 2 countries in 2006 so should be removed.

	Wow. Okay, if you're doing "casual names" (aka short form names) then you need to be consistent. The short form name is 'United States', the "crazy island countrie" name is 'The United States of America". You forgot 'Republic of the Congo' which is NOT the same as the 'Democratic Republic of the Congo'. Also, unless your question is "what does the abbreviation stand for" is it Sporcle practice to accept DRC, CAR, UAE and St.[X] as answers.
