Federated States of Micronesia - maybe only as a bonus since it is not the commonly used Sporcle name.

Can't believe I missed Netherlands arrrgh. Agree that Comoros needs to be on here. Barbados is one island and therefore not plural.

Actually, the official name for Comoros is the Union of the Comoros. So, not plural. The Federated States of Micronesia should be on here, though.

Actually, "Union of the Comoros" implies that "Comoros" is a pluralized word. You can't really create a union out of a single entity. Since the quiz is for country names that "contain" a plural word (not just that the entire name is plural) it should probably be included.

For those in the comments, if you're looking at full country names you'd have to include "United Mexican States" as well.

What about country names that are plurals in other languages? E.g. Burkina Faso - "Burkina" is a plural in the More language.

What is plural about People's Republic of China? It's never plural with an apostrophe And by nature of the word "and," Bosnia and Herzegovina and St Kitts and Nevis should be included

If we are including countries with 'and' then the United Kingdom should be included. Comoros should be included not because the word Union implies plural but because the word Comoros is plural. I think the problem becomes whether you use the formal or informal (sporcle) name for a country, recognize the fact that some words may be plural in their source lnaguage, like Burkina, and whether you include 'and' countries. If you define those issues at the outset, you have a good quiz.

Barbados is a pluralized adjective. Comoros is definitely plural. "People's" is a possessive, not a plural. St Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, Trinidad and Tobago, Bosnia and Herzegovina would qualify as bonus answers - multiple included entities, but not strictly plurals.

@tiger: people's is possessive, not plural... also, china is the commonly accepted sporcle name.
