	Bahrain is an island. Also Brunei (5,270 sq km), Kosovo (10,908 sq km), Haiti (27,560 sq km), Guinea-Bissau (28,000 sq km) and Belgium (32,278 sq km) are all smaller than Lesotho (30,355 sq km.) And you really should use capital letters at the start of each answer, and probably show the area once guessed. But despite all that, it's a good idea for a quiz, just needs a bit of tidying up.

	also Brunei is a small part of a large island surely that should count. And to agree with DRB, Bahrain is an island

	well on sporcle kosovo is generally given the status as independent because the majority of people who visit sporcle are from countries who recognize kosovo's independence. and i disagree wit Mcourtney. to be considered an island country it has to occupy the entire island.

	Look, if Haiti and Brunei count, then East Timor should count too. They all share an island with another country/countries.

	No, Sealand is not a country. Brunei and Haiti are on Islands, Equatorial Guinea's capital is on Bioko Island, and Belize owns loads of Islands in the Caribbean Sea. Maybe you should find a better source...

	Seriously, am I the only one who can understand the question? All those smallest countries quizzes are dominated by microscopic countries like Palau, Grenada and such... The idea of this quiz was to name the smallest countries that aren't only made of islands they own entirely. The only thing to change in this quiz would be to add East Timor (because Brunei and Haiti are there) and to make the explanations clearer, but they aren't that complicated, I think I managed to understand it allright.

	I agree about adding Timor-Leste as the quiz is currently constructed. However the title suggests that none of the answers for this quiz will be on an island (it states "NO ISLANDS"). The fact that some of these countries do not occupy a whole island doesn't change the fact they are island countries IMO.

	too many people are over thinking this. its really simple-just name the smallest countries that aren't completely island countries(ie occupy and entire island). like yoteshot said, the only thing to add would be east timor, since it fits the same criteria as haiti and brunei. I like sporcle, but people can get really annoyingly nitpicky on this site

	It says on the title of the quiz "no islands" I don't think it's being nitpicky to exclude countries that are entirely on islands.

	Agree with Yoteshot too.... Palau IS an island whereas Brunei is part of an island. Brunei it's self is NOT an island. Seems pretty straight forward. Perhaps tidying up the title or saying (no island countries) would help.

	The island thing is easy to understand. The definition is the same as the one used for the "Island Countries" quiz, which didn't include Haiti, Timor-Leste or Brunei (or for that matter the UK or Indonesia). The Sporcle precedent is that an Island Country is one with no part of its territory on a Continental landmass AND with no land borders. Change the question to what Havok3595 suggests if you want to make it easier for people.

	Havok's solution solves this issue. Also, I think this quiz would be much cooler if the continents were removed and land area (in sq mi or sq km) was in its place.

	I agree - either use Havok's wording or get rid of Haiti and Brunei. The current wording states "no islands" and while neither of those is itself an island, both are certainly on one.
