| @Austerlitz: True there's a published version of this quiz but they are not identical in format (even though the answers are the same). This quiz gives a border country hint, while the published one doesn't. Which is the reason I think this quiz would be better with a 2 minute time limit (compared to the 6 minute time limit for the published version). I guess this is heresy here, but just because something has been published, doesn't preclude doing another quiz on the more or less exact same subject in a significantly different way. The published quiz essentially requires you to go through the countries of the world in your head, while this quiz is substantially easier since it pretty much locates where the country is, you just need to know how the borders look. I think there's room for both quizzes. I enjoyed them both. I do think there's a tendency here to jump on people who produce quizzes on similar subjects without bothering to investigate how the quizzes may actually be different. |
