I like this one much more than the other quiz. The other one was basically countries that only contain a's as vowels. This one was more fun, and the time was perfect... I only had 12 seconds left!

@jcorney: I never realized so many countries had the letter "n" in their names.

I'd have liked to seen them in alpha order to help figure out my missing ones.

Any quiz where I don't have to spell out every country in Central Asia gets five stars from me.

I think this is the most time I've spent on a quiz not typing. I just stared at my keyboard thinking of countries.

@Dodge: I'm a pretty terrible typer -- one of those three-finger ones that only use their index fingers and right thumb -- and I did pretty well, methinks! Missed two! Once you eliminate N, M, C and B, it's just a matter of sweeping through each continent. :) Great quiz!

Man, I totally missed the point of this until after it was over. I was thinking "why would a whole country not use part of their keyboard? Do they not have our alphabet? I got a surprising number, considering I was trying to confine it to countries I knew had different alphabets than ours. Doh! I think it's too late to be sporcling....

Every time I started typing in the wrong country, it was the letter N. M's, fine. B's easy. V's and C's - totally no issue. But N... my goodness!

Yup, I'm an idiot too. I thought this was for countries that don't use the bottom line of their keyboard so I just guessed random countries... Somehow I got 17, haha.

@jetsdaddy and anyone else who is going to argue that wales is missing on this quiz: i love how that even now, over 2 years after this site first got up and running and almost 300,000,000 quiz plays, people still dont understand that on this website, "wales" "scotland" "northern ireland" and "england" are NOT countries of the world. sheesh!

@dje: And yet they have separate football teams, different flags and their teams take part in the Six Nations rugby tournament. Maybe they aren't countries of the world according to Sporcle but in real life they are.

@Vlad: By that logic, wouldn't the USA be 50 separate countries? Each state has its own flag and its own sports teams, after all.
