Murfreesboro does need to be here. Also, can you add Rialto, CA (99,171) as a bonus?

Its so annoying how in the "a" us cities quiz I think of all the cities that end in "o", but then when I play the us cities ending in o quiz, I forget all the "o" cities and instead think of all the cities ending in "a" I missed before!

Murfreesboro, TN, has an official 2010 census count of 108,755, which would clearly put it on this listing. Please fix.

How is it that I got Provo, Plano, & Modesto (& tried Murphreesboro), but forgot easy ones like Fresno, Reno, & Sacramento??? Great quis by the way... Quizzes with other suffixes would be great ('i' would probably be a tough one).

I kept on making things up, like 'Tulso' and 'Pittsboro'! I normally don't like spelling-based geography quizzes, but this was fun.

@LettucePrey and Colmar: if you want to see (not jokingly) names of that kind, go to the Wikipedia page of a large U.S. city and then click "Esperanto" in the language column at the left. You'll find things like Bostono, Miamo, Detrojto, Kansasurbo (Kansas City), Filadelfio (Philadelphia), Novjorko (N.Y.) and, yes, Los-Anĝeleso.

@wasting2muchtime I tried Murfreesboro too -- if Wikipedia is to be believed, it's 108,755 by the 2010 Census, so just barely out of the top 25 shown here.

I spent most of this quiz misquoting the Beach Boys in my head. ("Orono, Oswego, baby why don't we go?" Because they're not big enough, that's why. And neither is Kokomo, Indiana.)

@ wasting2muchtime - I have to agree. Having grown up in the area, I hate to see Murfreesboro, TN not make a quiz on Sporcle.
