Actually, Sam Boyd Stadium is in Henderson, Nev. and has a seating capacity of 38,000. It's the home football stadium on UNLV.

This quiz will need to be updated soon -- Virginia Beach is set to break ground on an 18000 capacity stadium in the very near future.

I can't believe I missed the Alaska answer - I named the 2nd and 3rd largest city, and thought of a few tiny ones, but it didn't occur to me that there would be no 15K stadium anywhere in Alaska.

@amblingpoodle, what are the "3 non-suburb answers"? Anchorage of course. And Laredo and Fort Wayne? Then you are counting Virginia Beach and Chesapeake as suburbs, presumably of Norfolk? But Riverside and Bakersfield aren't really 'suburbs' of LA. This quiz is definitely heavy on the suburbs but I think it's a stretch to declare there are only 3 non-suburbs.

Rochester NY should be on the list, none of our stadiums hold more than 13,000+ people and we are bigger than many on the list.

In other words, name the cities that have neither Big 4 sports teams nor major universities with Division 1-A athletic programs.

I clearly need to learn more about cities in California that don't have major college sports or pro teams. (And @VegasHokie: Sam Boyd Stadium, while technically located in Whitney, not Henderson, has a mailing address of Las Vegas.)
