	I thought Kentucky would have been on here for sure. Who would of thought Tim Couch would be the only #1 overall from that university.

	One reason that may have caused Kentucky to not be on this list was that for about the first twenty years of the NBA, the first round required teams to select a player from a place within a certain distance from the home city of the franchise. Outside of the brief existence of the Cincinnati Royals, there was no franchise within that distance of Lexington.

	It should also be noted how amazing the early Celtics were because most other teams had a legitimate first round guy to select in the regional round, and then most of the rest of the great talent would be gone before their turn in the next round.

	Some misinformation on the NBA territorial picks, it was a team's option to forfeit their first round pick to take a player within a 50-mile radius of the team's arena. They weren't required to do so. Additionally, the territorial picks were not counted as the #1 pick either. The exception to this is when Cincinnati picked Oscar Robertson with their territorial pick, but it didn't matter since they owned the first pick in the draft anyway. The comment about most teams having legitimate first round guys in their region...the most territorial picks used in a single draft was three. The Celtics were just fortunate with some of their picks, for example eight players were selected before Havlicek.
